I am Austin McCarthy. I love learning through life experiences, so what better way to learn about the world than to see the world!

This past fall I studied abroad with Semester at Sea. While sailing between ports, I attended to my studies and the creation of new friendships. While in port I strived to seize every adventure, to be present in each moment, and to open my eyes to the great big world I was, am, and will be blessed to meet.

I have always believed that the best part of getting to experience the world is sharing my stories with others. The stories I tell about traveling around the world, recapping my great adventures cement the memories in my mind. I wish to influence others to go out of their comfort zone and take on a little adventure. You can travel the world or take a break from Netflix and your regular spots and be a tourist in your city. Adventure is an event, or experience that challenges you to grow and experience the things around you. So go! Find your Adventure!
